Airport Development Group Showcases Indigenous Engagement and Accessibility Initiatives at Aerospace Aviation Symposium

Airport Development Group (ADG) was proud to have been part of the Royal Aeronautical Society Australian Division (RAeS) Symposium held in Canberra in late October. Melanie Cobbin, ADG's Head of Airport Operations, presented on our initiatives, including the impactful work of our Indigenous Engagement programs, our Indigenous Training Academy, and ADG's commitment to accessibility in aviation. This event brought together the best of Australian and New Zealand Aerospace.

The Symposium highlighted the achievements in the Australian Aerospace Industry, with attendees from a cross section of industry leaders in Australian civil and military aviation, featuring insightful presentations covering a broad spectrum of topics in aviation and aerospace. ADG was honored to join this forum, and we extend our thanks to RAeS Australian Division President Emily Hughes for her opening remarks on Australia’s leadership role in driving the future of aviation and aerospace.

Melanie Cobbin
shared: "Engagement across the aviation industry is vital. It’s how we achieve meaningful, sustainable growth and inclusion, ensuring all voices are represented as we navigate the future of aviation."

Congratulations to all involved for making this Aerospace Industry Symposium such a resounding success.
