Airport Development Group (ADG) in conjunction with the Mercure Darwin Airport Resort held a moving event to announce the completion of 8 new Pool Villas and recognise the significant contribution of 8 Territorians, by naming the Villas in their honour.
The story of each Honouree is displayed in the Villa dedicated to them.
A smoking ceremony held to recognise to the Traditional Owners of the land, the Larrakia, was led by Cain, a trainee with ADG’s Indigenous Training Academy.
The event was attended by Honourees and their families, many of whom had travelled from across the Territory to be there.
