Today marks a major milestone for the Northern Territory’s global connectivity as Qantas launches its inaugural Darwin-Singapore service.

This new route adds over 70,000 seats annually, providing Territorians with a one-stop gateway to Asia and Europe—the fastest way to travel to London.

For international visitors, the direct connection makes it easier than ever to start their Australian adventure in Darwin, bypassing other major capital cities and saving valuable travel time.

Key highlights of the new service:

  • 4 flights per week with Qantas’ Boeing 737-800 fleet
  • Seamless connections to London and beyond via Singapore
  • Boosting trade, business, and tourism links between NT and Asia
  • Adding over 70,000 new seats to the Singapore mega hub
