Airport Development Group celebrates International Women’s Day 2026 across Northern Australia

Airport Development Group (ADG) proudly recognises International Women’s Day 2026, celebrating the contribution, diversity and leadership of women working across its airports and operations in Darwin, Alice Springs, and Cairns.

This year’s global theme, “Gain to Give,” highlights the importance of creating opportunities that empower individuals to grow, contribute, and support others, strengthening collaboration across workplaces and the communities ADG serves throughout Northern Australia.

Airport Development Group, have 131 female team members across the group representing over 21 nationalities who contribute to the organisation’s success every day. Their experience and perspectives reflect the diversity of the regions in which ADG operates and the communities connected through its airports.

The 2026 theme Gain to Give reflects how investing in people creates stronger teams and more inclusive workplaces. Across Airport Development Group, our female team members bring diverse perspectives, professionalism and leadership that strengthen collaboration and innovation across our business.

Women play an essential role across all areas of the organisation, including airport operations, infrastructure and project delivery, property and commercial management, finance, safety, sustainability, administration, the environment, community engagement, and corporate services. Their leadership and expertise support the continued growth and performance of ADG’s aviation and property portfolio across the Northern Territory and Far North Queensland.
