Investing in our communities, creating opportunities, and making a difference.

ADG is proud to support the Starfish Kids Family Fun Day
through our Community Grants Program.

The event brings together children living with disability, their families, carers, volunteers, and supporters for a day focused on inclusion, connection, and celebration.

For more than 20 years, Donna Rousham, OAM, and the Starfish Swim Group have created opportunities for children with disability to develop vital water safety and swimming skills, while building confidence, connection, and a strong sense of belonging for families across the Northern Territory.

At ADG, we believe investment in community-led initiatives is an important part of building stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.

Our Community Grants Program provides support to local organisations and grassroots initiatives that deliver meaningful outcomes for Territorians, from inclusion and wellbeing to education, community connection, sport, and cultural participation.

Sandra de Kock, EGM People, Culture and Community, said supporting initiatives such as Starfish reflects ADG’s commitment to creating positive social outcomes in the communities where we live and work.

The Starfish Kids Family Fun Day is a wonderful celebration of inclusion, participation, and community spirit. ADG is proud to support an initiative that recognises the achievements of children living with disability and the important role families, carers and volunteers play in helping them thrive.

“Community organisations like Starfish make an important contribution to the wellbeing and connection of Territorians. We congratulate Donna Rousham, OAM, and the Starfish Swim Group for the positive impact they continue to make across the Northern Territory.”

Donna Rousham, OAM, Founder of Starfish Swim Group, said community partnerships help create opportunities for children and families to connect and celebrate their achievements.

“The support of community partners such as ADG helps us create opportunities for children and families to come together, celebrate achievements, and build lasting connections. We are grateful for the contribution to this year’s Family Fun Day by ADG and their commitment to inclusion across the Territory.”

ADG is delighted to support the Starfish community and the important work being delivered to promote inclusion, wellbeing, confidence, and meaningful social connection.

We look forward to seeing participants, families, volunteers, and supporters come together to celebrate the achievements of the Starfish community.
