Airport Development Group (ADG), owner of Darwin Airport Resorts, is celebrating a significant achievement at the 2026 Hospitality NT Aristocrat Technologies Awards for Excellence, with the premier accommodation and entertainment precinct recognised across three major categories.
Darwin Airport Resorts received the following awards:
- Best Superior Accommodation: Novotel, Mercure, and Ibis Darwin Airport
- Best Redeveloped Accommodation: Mercure Darwin Airport Resort
- Best Outdoor Area: Novotel, Mercure and Ibis Darwin Airport
The awards recognise the ongoing commitment of Darwin Airport Resorts to delivering exceptional guest experiences, high-quality facilities, and outstanding hospitality in the Northern Territory.
ADG proudly acknowledges Indigenous Training Academy participant, Connor Hopkins, who was recognised as a finalist in the Trainee/Apprentice of the Year category for his outstanding contribution to hospitality.
Connor’s professionalism, dedication, and leadership have made a lasting impression not only on guests and colleagues, but also across the wider industry.
Airport Development Group recognises Connor as a shining example of the Indigenous Training Academy and an emerging leader whose positive attitude and commitment continue to inspire his peers and those he engages with each day.

General Manager Darwin Airport Resorts, Raymond Bragg, said the awards reflected the commitment and dedication of the entire team.
